Creating your profile settings

Go to Menu / Profile Settings.

At Profile Settings you can create and manage your ID and digital business card settings. These settings are used when you share your card with others.

Setting your ID photo and name

You are required to upload an image of yourself within ten days after the application is activated.

You can take a photo with your camera or upload an existing one. You can change your photo any time you like. Please make sure that you are recognizable on the photo as it is part of your ID and your digital business card (as well as our quality of service). No other type of images are allowed to be used here (e.g. ad, logo, legally questionable content) as stated in our Terms of Use. The name data are meant to be displayed on your phone’s HOME page as well as to be your identification on the partner’s phone before sending your card. This section is not part of your card and you are free to use your full name or just part of it for this purpose. Even if both lines are filled in you are free to switch off one of them.

Creating / Changing your card settings

Go to Menu / Profile Settings and scroll down below the “ID Photo and Name” section. Here you can create your default  card. If you use the full version of SendeeApp you can create three default  cards for different purposes.

Make sure that all the data you save here are correct and relevant. Please consider that you are not allowed to use any personal data of another person on your card as stated in our Terms of Use. Keep in mind that after editing your settings you must save your changes to create the new default card(s).

Configuring your cards (Full version option)

You can create three independent digital business card configurations for more convenience. The cards are marked as Ac, Bc and Cc (In order to name each card see instructions of the “Naming Your Cards” section). For each element you add to your profile you can specify which card or cards you want it to appear on. An element can be appear on one, two or three cards or none of the cards if you choose so.

Setting your name

You can specify your name.

In the full version you can add two other name fields for more flexibility (for different languages, order of names, etc.) Due to the limitation of this data field in the address book of the smartphones attach only one name to one card.

Setting your job

You can specify your occupation.

In the full version you can add two other job fields if you have more than one job. Due to the limitation of this data field in the address book of the smartphones attach only one job to one card.

Setting your company name

You can specify your company name.

In the full version you can add two other company fields if you work for more than one company. Due to the limitation of this data field in the address book of the smartphones attach only one company name to one card.

Setting your phone numbers

You can save three phone numbers (mobile, work, home).

In the full version you can save a total of twelve phone number fields (3 mobile, 3 work, 3 home and 3 “other” where you can specify the field name for each add.) Place the one first on each card which you consider as most private so you can easily switch it off before each share via the Quick Switch Panel.

Setting your Email addresses

You can save two Email addresses (home, work).

In the full version you can save a total of nine Email address fields (3 home, 3 work and 3 “other” where you can specify the field name for each add). Place the one first on each card which you consider as most private so you can easily switch it off before each share via the Quick Switch Panel.

Setting your URLs

You can save three website addresses and specify the field names.

In the full version you can save a total of 10 website address fields (3 URL and 7 “other” where you can specify a field name for each add.).

Setting your addresses

You can save two addresses (home, work).

In the full version you can save a total of seven address fields (3 home, 3 work and an “other” where you can specify the field name.) Place the one first on each card which you consider as most private so you can easily switch it off before each share via the Quick Switch Panel.

Setting your social media addresses

You can save a total of nine social media addresses. If you want to add a social media address which is not on the list you can choose “other social” to create a new field name. Each address can be easily switched off before each share via the Quick Switch Panel.

Checking the content of your default card

Go to the HOME page and push your ID name to see the active content of your default card.

In the full version the card name is shown in the middle on the top of your screen. You can check the content of the other cards by sliding the screen to the left or to the right.

Naming your cards (Full version option)

You can name your three default digital business cards for more convenience.

Go to the HOME page and push your ID name to see the content of one of your cards. The card name is shown in the middle on the top of your screen. You can check the content of the other cards by sliding the screen to the left or to the right.

In order to change the name of one card choose the edit icon on the top right corner while the required card is on the display. Fill in the card name field (maximum 8 characters) and save your changes.

Your HOME page

On the HOME page you can initiate sending or receiving a digital business card. The page contains:

Your ID name as given and activated by you in the Profile Settings. By pushing your ID name you can check the content of your digital business card.

Your QR code generated from your ID details placed in the middle of the central button. You can activate the in built QR reader by pushing the central button.

An option to share your card via Email.

Push the central button on the HOME page to initiate the QR reader via your camera

Read the QR code of your partner from the HOME page of their phone

The ID of the partner appears on your screen along with the sending module

Select the card you intend to share by pushing it for a second or sliding it toward the central button

Use the Quick Buttons on the top left and right corner of the central button to disable the first active lines of the “Email” and “Phone Number” section on your card (more about it in the “Quick Switch Panel” section)

For a more detailed customization use the Quick Switch Panel.

Send your card by pushing or sliding the central button (for security reasons you need to keep pushing the button for a second to activate the sending).

Your card is sent to the partner

(Keep in mind that the QR reader is specified for the Sendee system. It does not read any other QR code.)

Sending your digital business card (via Email)

Push “send via Email” on the HOME page to initiate sending your card via Email. A line for the Email address appears on your screen

Type the Email address of the partner into the line provided. The sending module appears on your screen

Select the card you intend to share by pushing it for a second or sliding it toward the central button

Use the Quick Buttons on the top left and right corner of the central button to disable the first active lines of the “Email” and “Phone Number” section on your card (more about it in the “Quick Switch Panel” section)

Send your card by pushing or sliding the central button (for security reasons you need to keep pushing the button for a second to activate the sending)

Your card is sent to the partner’s Email address in a vCard format. The partner can directly download it to their phone and save the details to the phone book.

Customizing your card using the quick buttons

The fastest way to make changes before sending your digital business card is to use the Quick Buttons on the top left and right corner of the central button. These allow you to enable and/or disable the first active lines of your “Phone” and “Email” section on your card. You can see which of these data are active and quickly decide whether you want to share these with the partner. The active data is highlighted and you can switch it off by pushing the button.

Customizing your card with the Quick Switch Panel

For more customization of the content of your card you can use the Quick Switch Panel. Keep in mind that changes made on the Quick Switch Panel do not make changes in your default card settings. The Quick Switch Panel only customizes the share at hand.

If you have more than one elements saved in the “Phone”, “Email” and “Address” sections on your card you can only disable the first active line of each of these sections. The field name of the relevant element is always shown below the icon on the Quick Switch Panel.

Open the Quick Switch Panel from the central button of the sending module

Switch off the data you do not want to share with the partner by pushing the relevant buttons

Close the Quick Switch Panel to get back to the sending module

Replying to a digital business card instantly

When you have received a digital business card you can reply it with your card instantly.

In case of an incoming card the ID of the partner appears on your screen along with the sending module

Select the card you intend to share by pushing it for a second or sliding it toward the central button

Use the Quick Buttons on the top left and right corner of the central button to disable the first active lines of the “Email” and “Phone Number” section on your card (more about it in the “Quick Switch Panel” section)

Replying to a digital business card at a later date

Go to My Contacts from the HOME page to see your received card list by using the icon on the top left corner

Enable action panel on the selected card by sliding card info area to the right

Choose “SEND” to activate the sending module

The ID of the partner appears on your screen along with the sending module

Select the card you intend to share by pushing it for a second or sliding it toward the central button

Use the Quick Buttons on the top left and right corner of the central button to disable the first active lines of the “Email” and “Phone Number” section on your card (more about it in the “Quick Switch Panel” section)

Receiving a digital business card

Show your QR on the HOME page of your phone to your partner’s SendeeApp QR reader

The sender’s ID appears on your display along with the information about the incoming card

If you do not want to reply promptly you can simply close the page. The card will be saved to the My Contacts list automatically

Receiving a digital business card as a reply to your card sent

When you have sent your card to the partner they can promptly reply to you with their card.

When you receive a card in return the partner’s ID appears on your display along with the information that the exchange is complete.

You can manage the incoming card instantly by saving it directly to your phone book or leave it on the My Contacts list for a later disposal.

Receiving a digital business card at a later date

If you shared your card with another person they can send their own card to you at any later date. In case of an incoming card a notification is sent to you (if you allowed to get push notifications) and the card appears on the My Contacts list.

Checking partner card details

In order to check incoming card details Go to My Contacts from the HOME page by using the icon on the top left corner and simply push the selected card. The details will show up on your display.

Adding a card to your phone book

You can directly add your received digital business cards to your phone book.

Go to My Contacts from the HOME page to see your received card list by using the icon on the top left corner

Enable action panel on the selected card by sliding card info area to the right

Choose “SAVE” to add the contact to your phone’s phone book

Deleting cards from the My Contacts list

Go to My Contacts from the HOME page to see your received card list by using the icon on the top left corner

Enable action panel on the selected card by sliding card info area to the left

Choose “DELETE” to remove the card from your list

Writing an instant note

When you receive a card the partner’s ID appears on your display with a red dot at the bottom right corner of their profile picture

Push the dot to open the notes panel

Type your notes. There is a 300 character limit to each note

Quit notes

(Attached notes are indicated with a grey dot at the top left corner of the profile picture on each cards received. Notes are saved to your phone book along with card details.)

Writing a note at a later date

Go to My Contacts from the HOME page to see your received card list by using the icon on the top left corner

Enable action panel on the selected card by sliding card info area to the right

Choose “NOTE” to activate the panel

Type your notes. There is a 300 character limit to each note

Quit notes

(Attached notes are indicated with a grey dot at the top left corner of the profile picture on each cards received. Notes are saved to your phone book along with card details.)

Upgrading Sendee Lite to SendeeApp

The full version of the app with three default cards for more convenience and flexibility is available as an in-app-purchase in the App Store and as a separate application (SendeeApp) in the Google Play Store. You have easy access to your version in the Menu / Sendee Store.

Getting new designs

This feature is going to be introduced at a later date and it will allow you to enjoy a more customized look of your SendeeApp. You will be able to reach the new designs in Menu / Sendee Store.

Managing your preferences

Go to Menu / Settings / Preferences to change your preferences. Here you can:

decide whether you want to receive push notifications. When your partner sends a digital business card at a later date you get a notification about it. By turning push notification off you choose not knowing about receiving a new card but the card gets automatically saved to the My Contacts list.

decide whether you want to see the custom splash screen when opening the app (for those purchasing a SendeeApp design in the Menu / Design Shop).

have your QR regenerated. QR regeneration is aimed for security purposes in case of you need it. Note that you can regenerate your QR only after 30 days again.

Changing your password

To change your password go to Menu / Settings / Change Password and fill in the lines accordingly.

Terminating your account

You are free to terminate your data any time. You can find all information about the process in the Terms of Use/Privacy Policy document available on our website (www.SendeeApp.com)

Forgotten password

Save your login details (Email and password) and keep them safe. In case you forget your password use the “Forgotten Password” section on the Log in page and send us your contact Email address as provided by you in the registration process. Check your Email box for your new password which you will be able to change later in the “Change Password” section.

Logging out

We recommend that you stay logged in for a more convenient and quick use but you can always choose to log out at Menu / Log out.
